ARVELDAN Local Backup

ARVELDAN Local Backup is a private Windows utility used by its owner to keep a local backup of the owner's Google Drive files.

With the account owner's permission, the utility reads files and folder information from My Drive, downloads ordinary files, and exports supported Google Workspace documents to local formats. It preserves folder structure and keeps older versions of changed local files. The ARVELDAN_Backups folder is excluded to avoid recursively backing up cloud backup snapshots.

The utility requests read-only Google Drive access. It does not edit, delete, or share the source files in Google Drive. It does not require access to Gmail, contacts, or calendars.

The owner configures a daily Windows backup schedule. Completion depends on the computer, signed-in Windows session, internet connection, storage availability, and valid Google authorization. Backup results and errors are recorded locally.

This utility is for the owner's private use and is not offered as a public backup service.
